More ODENBAUGHs I haven't "fit" into the tree.

These are some of the ODENBAUGHs I haven't connected to Jonas ODENBAUGH yet. They might be related, but further research is needed.

• Albert ODENBAUGH could be the son of Charles & Martha DEAN Odenbaugh or he could be a grandson of Charles and Catherine (FRY) ODENBAUGH. Also, in 1906 Dr. Jefferson Odenbaugh of Illinois (son of Thomas Jefferson Odenbaugh) wrote a letter stating that Albert was the son of Charles and Catherine (FRY) ODENBAUGH. However, the same Dr. Jefferson ODENBAUGH wrote an unpublished genealogy, which another researcher in the 1970s discounted.
• John and Mary ODENBAUGH, according to the 1850 Census of Winona Co., MN were born in Germany in 1793 and 1795.  
• James J. ODENBAUGH & descendents - BJ's line.
• Mary E. (ODENBAUGH) Vogel  (born Germany?) and her husband John VOGEL (born Germany) are listed as parents on the death certificate of Patrick's great grandmother, Margaret Vogel (Meyers), born January 25, 1876 in Cambria County, PA.   Patrick's familytreemaker page  Patrick's email I wonder if the information stating she was born in Germany was an assumption because of the surname. Otherwise, I would expect to find more ODENBAUGH names we couldn't recognize. I suspect she was really born in PA and and descends from one of the groups we have little info on...perhaps she could be a granddaughter of Daniel who had six children and we have no info on any grandchildren.
• Melissa ODENBAUGH b. about 1832, married (John) Dennis HOLDEN in 1850

• Peter and Christina ODENBAUGH descendents - at least 50 people mostly with roots in Colorado. I met a descendent in 1998 and he drew a family tree for me.

• Sarah ODENBAUGH married in 1883 to John T. A. Rightsell Born: Jun 17, 1850 Coles County, Illinois, USA Died: Feb 5, 1906

• ODENBAUGH, D. E. m. 2 Jul 1883 to J. E. RIME in  Seneca, Ohio

• ODENBAUGH, Daniel H. born about 1872 per LDS which lists his father as Charles.

•  published in "Cornerstone Clues" which comes out quarterly and is published by the Cornerstone Genealogical Society. [CC Vol. VII No. 2 May 1982 & Vol. IX No. 1 Feb 1984] From RHODES family history: William Rhodes, Jr. grew up in Greene Co. and was married (1) on 26 Sep 1816 to Nancy Rinehart, daughter of Barnet Rinehart, and (2) to Mary Ann Odenbaugh who was born in 1802 and died 6 November 1866 (Dates differ from Mary Ann (ODENBAUGH) Hughes...so is it unclear if this is the same person.

• Catherine Jane and Elizabeth Odenbaugh from Marriage records for 1841 and 1844...would seem to old to be grandchildren of Jonas' Charles...since Charles died in 1813...and his children by Catherine (FRY) was born between 1796-1813. If these girls were 20 when married...they would have been born in 1821 & 1824....quite possibly the daughters of Charles and Martha (DEAN) ODENBAUGH since their "son practiced medicine in Ohio" the family   could have moved to Indiana. Perhaps we can find their death certificates and it will list their parents names.

• Elizabeth Odenbaugh APPOLD

  "Elizabeth (ODENBAUGH) Arnold" could also be related to the "Mary Ann (ODENBAUGH) RHODES born in 1802 and died 6 November 1866 below. I haven't had the opportunity to check "My Memoirs" which should include this marriage IF this "Mary Ann Odenbaugh" is the widow of Thomas Hughes who was b. 1796-1862, buried in Wheeling W. VA....this differs from the dates for the other?
